Albrecht C. Riepen
Albrecht primarily practices in south Texas with a focus on criminal law and insatiable interest in civil litigation. He first gained experience defending the rights of his clients as an assistant public defender in Webb County. Since becoming licensed, Albrecht has handled hundreds of cases, including DWI, theft, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, and various types of drug cases. He also represents clients in extradition, probation revocation, bond reduction, and habeas corpus proceedings. Albrecht is never afraid to take a case to trial and will never force a client to take a plea deal or settle when it is not in a client's best interest.
In addition to his criminal practice, Albrecht is a qualified mediator with a successful track record. He has experience with general civil litigation, especially in personal injury, consumer, and landlord/tenant law.
A native of Dallas, Albrecht graduated from the University of Texas at Austin before attending law school at the University of Houston Law Center. Albrecht speaks Spanish, French, and Portuguese at professional levels of proficiency and is always willing to use his language skills to accommodate clients.
