Malick Djiba is the son of Senegalese immigrants and an Austin resident of 13 years. Malick graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law with a focus on International Humanitarian Law. After passing the Bar, Malick had the unique opportunity to work for the United Nations' International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia's (ICTY) where he was tasked with helping U.N. prosecutors take on highly complex legal issues in a bid to bring justice to the people of Eastern Europe.
Upon returning to the United States, Malick held litigation positions at a number of firms in Texas, allowing him to further develop develop his advocacy skills. Malick feels fortunate to have been on his current journey and credits his work ethic and result-oriented approach to litigation for earning him the trust and respect of his colleagues and clients.
In his spare time, Malick enjoys playing football (or soccer if you're so inclined), writing fiction, Japanese anime, and being a startup co-founder.
